Street Energy can install a 2.8 KW solar PV system on your roof at absolutely no cost to you that will generate around £320* worth of FREE electricity for your home per year!
Not only are the panels free, but so is the installation including all the necessary scaffolding costs. And we'll maintain and insure the whole system at our cost for 25 years.
The electricity generated by the solar PV system is free for use in your home in return for the lease of your roof to Street Energy for the duration of the Feed In Tariff period. At the end of the lease period the system will become your property and will continue to provide you with free electricity through the typical 35-40 year system life.

FREE Wireless Monitor
All our free solar installations are provided with an easy to use wireless monitor that shows you the output of the system in real time. The unit will also show you how much electricity has been generated over the past hour/day/month/year and will help you plan your use of appliances such as washing machines to maximise your cost savings. The wireless monitor is even solar powered so you will never need to change the battery!
How do Solar Panels work?
Solar panels generate electricity when they are exposed to sunlight, thereby producing clean, natural and free energy.
Solar panels work under both direct and diffuse sunlight - so are perfect for our climate!
- Power is generated when light hits the solar panels generating a direct current or DC voltage.
- The DC voltage is converted into alternating current (AC) by an electronic device called an inverter that is normally positioned in the loft.
- The electricity flows from the inverter through a generation meter and is then connected into your household supply.
- The supply of free electricity from the panels reduces the amount of electricity you purchase from your electricity supplier
- Any unused power that is generated is automatically fed back into the grid.
